Blantant dishonesty…Grrr.
Dishonesty makes me want to vomit. I reviewed a competing vendor’s survey that showed that it would take 129 units to cover the facility to -72dBm, and then on the quote in the front of the survey, they priced out only 46 units. Further, they needed more than 275 units to achieve voice grade Wi-Fi, something the customer was expecting, and yet they neglected to mention that their -72dBm “guarantee” was 1/4 of the necessary power. Needless to say, when we explained this to the customer, the other vendor was immediately thrown out of the account. They were only trying to lock in the account by getting the customer to spend some initial money with them. Sad. Of course, their lack of integrity is becoming notorious at this point… Everywhere we compete with them, it’s the same story. BS industry reports, BS behind-the-scenes political plays, and now BS surveys. We also found out that they don’t employ SEs in Europe…only under-paid contractors. That’s how they offer “free surveys and installs”…by cheating their own contractors. :(
